Embracing Farm-to-Table at Combine Cafe & Bar

Combine Cafe & Bar is dedicated to the farm-to-table movement. This philosophy emphasizes sourcing ingredients directly from local farms and producers, ensuring that every dish we serve is fresh, sustainable, and deeply connected to our community. Our commitment to farm-to-table, particularly through our partnership with Southlands Tsawwassen, enriches your dining experience.

Southlands Tsawwassen Apiary: Home of The Bee Place

A vital part of our commitment to farm-to-table is our partnership with Southlands Tsawwassen Apiary,  home of The Bee Place. Located on Southlands Drive, this sanctuary maintains beehives for a thriving colony of honeybees. Pollinators like these bees play an essential role in our agricultural ecosystem, pollinating various fruits, vegetables, and nuts and thus having a direct impact on our food supply. We are proud to use honey from the apiary in our salad dressings and other recipes, adding a unique, local sweetness to our dishes.

Fresh Produce from Southlands Farm

Our commitment to farm-to-table extends to our partnership with a farm at Southlands Tsawwassen and which grows a variety of fresh, seasonal produce. Southlands Tsawwassen is dedicated to sustainable practices, and the surrounding farms  provides us with high-quality ingredients that enhance our menu and reflect the bounty of our local agriculture. By using in-season produce, we ensure that our dishes are not only delicious but also in harmony with our region’s natural growing cycles.
